Speech-language therapy to help you or your child read, write, speak, and listen with ease.
Your child is having difficulty reading and writing and they may no longer have the confidence they used to have.
Your kid might hate reading and writing. They may feel like they are “stupid” and are no longer sharing ideas in class, at home, or with friends.
Sound familiar?
If your child is falling behind because of reading and writing, you might be worried they will start hating school.
I believe that every person can learn how to read, write, and communicate confidently. On top of that, they can have fun while learning!
Hi! I’m Hollis.
I understand that you might be feeling worried that your child is struggling with reading and writing.
The children I’ve worked with have gone from constantly asking parents “what does that say?” and “I don’t know how to write my essay” to enjoying reading and writing and showing off their skills.
Every child I’ve worked with has made progress - just like yours will.

We’ll build communication and executive functioning skills so listening, speaking, reading, and writing is easier and more enjoyable.
Step 3: Confident Communication
Your child will have increased confidence with reading and know the steps to write essays. They can be themselves out loud and show the world who they are.

Have concerns about starting speech therapy?
“Hmmm I’m not sure, let me think about it and come back later…”
-You, maybe
Finding a speech therapist that meets your family’s needs can be overwhelming. You might be worried about the cost, time commitment, or if it will actually work for your child.
The best way to decide if speech therapy with Mindful Speech is a good fit for your family is to schedule a free consultation to discuss your needs.
Worried about the cost?
It might be more expensive to hire a range of tutors when they aren’t working on the underlying issues.
Intervening early can help your child build a better relationship with reading, writing, and learning in general that will last their lifetime.
Private therapy is more expensive than the therapy provided at your child’s school but unlike within the school system, you and your child play a role in deciding on goals for therapy. You also don’t have to fight for more minutes with the school SLP every year.
You might pay more to see me but you can be confident that we are working on all of the aspects of reading and writing. That might be worth the extra cost for your family.
Don’t have the time for speech therapy?
I understand that scheduling speech-language therapy might feel like yet another item on a to-do list that is already long. However, having a designated time every week where someone else is helping your child might be worth it.
It saves you time researching what will help your child and trying to teach them yourself. I do the research for you! You can spend the time you have with your child playing, connecting, and having fun.
Let me take this task off your plate.
